Laid back swing is the name of the game with this charts. Muted brass provide a restrained statement of the head backed by a warm sax pad, before a simple swinging, ensemble tutti section. A short solo section using Bb mixolydian as source for improvisation is followed by a 2 part vamp section. The ensemble tutti returns and the chart finishes with more muted brass over a sax pad.
